Hydrogen Safety & Leaks

We carry out safety studies in working environments with hydrogen, to support regulatory and legislative compliance, designing the necessary preventive measures for the safe handling of hydrogen and ensuring the protection of the people involved, facilities and the surrounding environment.

We have our own software for the implementation of safety distances in hydrogen plants and we are developing a specific tool for the detection and location of hydrogen leaks in industrial environments.

1.Regulation and Permitting

We study the current regulations and permitting in order to be able to offer our customers… ATEX (ISO-60079), APQ (RD 656), RASE (RD 681-2003), SEVESO (RD…), NFPA2 (Hydrogen Technologies).

2.Quantitative Studies

We carry out the necessary analyses to calculate social, individual and environmental risks using QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment) methodology.

3.Qualitative Studies

We implement studies for hazard identification (HAZID) and for site operability (HAZOP).

4.Leak Location

Leak detection and location in any Hydrogen related environment.

We use different tools and solutions for the integral management of safety in the life cycle of each project.

Our solutions, tailored to each engineering stage and project phase, will ensure effective hazard identification, appropriate risk management and comprehensive safety engineering.

Software with 3D technology based on the implementation of an industrial hydrogen plant according to the safety distances of the elements.
