Description

The H2SKID project is an R&D project with a total budget of €7.69 million allocated to industrial research activities aimed at acquiring new knowledge and developing new products and services that will significantly improve existing ones to ensure the future use of green hydrogen as a sustainable energy vector to decarbonise industry and create a value chain for electrolyser components, compression and hydrogen storage components.

Scope & Objective

The main objective of the H2SKID project is therefore to research new technologies for the production of green hydrogen using a 1.25 MW AEM/PEM experimental portable electrolyser, as an enabling solution to supply green hydrogen to industrial end users (and potentially supplying oxygen for e.g. oxy-combustion processes) and generating a powerful local value chain around the associated electrolyser components and hydrogen compression and storage.
